We are looking for an experienced Safety Officer / Safety Engineer to oversee safety activities at electrical and construction project sites. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring protected work practices, statutory compliance, and adherence to project/client safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct daily site safety inspections and identify unsafe conditions and practices.
- Ensure compliance with HSE requirements, Permit to Work (PTW), HIRA, JSA, PPE, and safe work procedures.
- Conduct safety induction, toolbox talks, and regular safety awareness programs.
- Monitor electrical works, work at height, hot work, lifting activities, scaffolding, and other high-risk activities.
- Ensure proper implementation of electrical safety and LOTO (Lockout/Tagout) procedures.
- Prepare and maintain safety reports, risk assessments, inspection records, and other HSE documentation.
- Report and investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
- Coordinate with site engineers, workers, contractors, and client safety teams.
- Ensure emergency preparedness, fire safety, first-aid arrangements, and good housekeeping at site.




- Stop unsafe work where necessary and ensure corrective measures are taken before work resumes.

Qualifications & Experience

- Diploma/Degree in Engineering or Technology from a recognized institution.
- Diploma in Industrial Safety (DIS) from a recognized/approved institution is mandatory.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in construction, industrial, or electrical project sites.
- Experience in industrial/manufacturing projects is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of construction safety, electrical safety, work-at-height, scaffolding, lifting, hot work, PTW, HIRA, JSA, and LOTO.
- Knowledge of applicable Indian safety regulations and statutory requirements.
- Good communication and documentation skills.

Certifications

- Diploma in Industrial Safety (DIS) – Mandatory
- First Aid / Basic Life Support – Preferred
- Fire & Safety Training – Preferred
- IOSH Managing Safely – Added advantage

Pay: ₹28,000.00 - ₹33,000.00 per month
