Job Summary

Ajanta Footcare (India) Pvt. Ltd. is hiring Counter Salesmen for our retail store in Midnapore, West Bengal.

We are looking for enthusiastic, customer-focused and sales-oriented candidates who can assist customers, recommend suitable products, support daily store operations and contribute towards achieving sales targets.

Freshers with good communication skills are highly encouraged to apply. Training will be provided.

Eligibility & Experience

- Minimum qualification: Higher Secondary (12th Pass) or above
- 0–1 year of experience in Retail Sales
- Experience in Footwear Retail, Apparel Retail, or any Retail Industry will be an added advantage
- Freshers are welcome to apply

Salary & Benefits

- ₹9,500 Net Take-Home Salary per month

Duty Time & Weekly Off

- Duty Hours: 10:00 AM to 9:30 PM
- 26 working days per month
- 4 weekly offs per month

Key Responsibilities

- Assist customers and provide excellent customer service
- Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable products
- Achieve sales targets and promote ongoing offers
- Handle billing and cash transactions accurately
- Maintain product displays and ensure store cleanliness
- Support inventory and stock management activities
- Assist with day-to-day store operations




- Maintain good product knowledge and help customers make suitable product choices

Required Skills

- Good communication and customer-handling skills
- Basic computer knowledge
- Knowledge of POS/Billing Software will be an added advantage
- Sales-oriented and target-driven attitude
- Customer-focused approach
- Willingness to learn and develop product knowledge
- Ability to work effectively in a retail environment
