STUDENT COUNSELLOR – CALICUTJob Summary

Catalyst Education is looking for a confident, student-focused, and target-oriented Student Counsellor to join our Calicut team. The candidate will guide students and parents, understand their educational and career requirements, recommend suitable courses, and support them throughout the admission process.

Key Responsibilities

- Counsel students and parents regarding courses and career opportunities.
- Understand student requirements, interests, and career goals.
- Recommend suitable courses and explain program details clearly.
- Handle enquiries through calls, WhatsApp, online leads, and walk-ins.
- Follow up with prospective students and parents regularly.
- Convert enquiries and leads into confirmed admissions.
- Explain course fees, benefits, eligibility, and admission procedures.
- Maintain accurate student and lead information in CRM.
- Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly counselling and admission targets.
- Handle student and parent queries professionally.
- Coordinate with Academic, Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams.
- Participate in seminars, admission drives, education fairs, and promotional activities.
- Prepare regular reports on counselling, follow-ups, and conversions.

Requirements





- Bachelor's Degree in any discipline preferred.
- Freshers can apply.
- 0–2 years of experience in Student Counselling, Academic Counselling, EdTech, Sales, or Telecalling is an advantage.
- Excellent Malayalam communication skills.
- Good English communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and convincing abilities.
- Good presentation and negotiation skills.
- Strong follow-up and relationship-building skills.
- Basic knowledge of CRM and MS Office.
- Target-oriented and self-motivated.
