About the Role

Vendiman is looking for an Assistant Manager – Operations to manage and coordinate day-to-day vending machine operations across assigned locations. The role will focus on ensuring smooth operations, machine uptime, inventory availability, field-team coordination, and achievement of operational and business targets.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day operations of vending machines across assigned locations.
- Ensure machines are operational, adequately stocked, and maintained as per company standards.
- Monitor machine-wise and location-wise sales, performance, uptime, and operational issues.
- Coordinate with field teams, technicians, warehouse, sales, and other internal teams for smooth operations.
- Plan and monitor refilling, replenishment, servicing, and preventive maintenance activities.
- Track machine breakdowns, downtime, complaints, and ensure timely resolution within defined TAT.
- Monitor inventory and stock movement to ensure product availability at vending machines.
- Maintain operational reports and review performance against defined targets.
- Identify operational gaps and implement corrective actions to improve efficiency and machine performance.
- Conduct regular checks/audits of vending machines and ensure adherence to company processes.
- Handle escalations from clients, locations, and internal stakeholders related to vending machine operations.
- Support onboarding and operational setup of new vending machine locations.
- Coordinate with vendors and service partners wherever required.
- Prepare and share daily, weekly, and monthly operational updates with management.
- Ensure compliance with company SOPs, safety standards, and operational guidelines.
- Train and guide field/operations team members to ensure effective execution.
- Support management in achieving sales,



availability, uptime, and operational efficiency targets.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Minimum 2 years of experience in Operations, preferably in Retail, Vending Machines, FMCG, QSR, Logistics, or a similar industry.
- Good understanding of field operations and team coordination.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel / Google Sheets and operational reporting.
- Ability to monitor and manage multiple locations simultaneously.
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Valuable organizational and time-management abilities.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned city/locations as required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and target-oriented environment.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate should be hands-on, proactive, and result-oriented, with strong field-operations and team-coordination skills. The candidate should be comfortable managing multiple vending machine locations and solving operational issues on the ground.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
