Key Responsibilities

- Monitor Vitals: Continuously track vital signs, heart rhythms, and hemodynamic parameters.
- Manage Equipment: Operate and maintain complex life support systems, ventilators, and infusion pumps.
- Administer Medication: Give prescribed drugs, IV fluids, and titrate vasoactive medications safely.
- Collaborate: Work closely with physicians, respiratory therapists, and the healthcare team on patient care plans.
- Support Families: Communicate patient status changes clearly and offer emotional support to loved ones. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7]

Qualifications and Requirements

- License: Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in valuable standing.
- Education: Associate's Degree in Nursing (ASN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- Experience: Minimum of 1 to 2 years of clinical experience in an ICU or critical care setting.
- Certifications: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). [1, 2]
