About Sunrise Immigration

For over 31 years, Sunrise Immigration has helped families and professionals build their futures abroad. Three decades in this field have given us something few firms can claim: a proven track record, deep regulatory knowledge, and the trust of thousands of clients across generations.

We are a high-performing, ethically grounded consulting firm. We don't sell dreams — we deliver pathways. Whether it's studying abroad, securing permanent residency, or reuniting with family, we guide clients through the process with transparency, accuracy, and strategy.

As we expand our study permit vertical across Canada, the US, the UK, Europe, Australia, Current Zealand, and other countries, we're looking for a detail-oriented, accountable, and client-focused officer who can process both admission and visa filing applications accurately and on time.

Role Overview

As a Student Admissions & Visa Filing Officer, you will handle the processing side of a student's journey — preparing and submitting admission applications and study permit applications error-free, reviewing supporting documents, and ensuring both admission and visa requirements are fully met before submission. This is an execution-focused role centred on accuracy, completeness, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Admission Application Processing

- Prepare and submit admission applications to universities, colleges, and institutions accurately and completely.
- Review supporting documents to ensure all institutional admission requirements are met before submission.
- Track offer letters, conditional offers,

deposit deadlines, and enrolment requirements.
- Liaise with institutions and their representatives to progress applications.

Visa File Management & Processing

- Prepare and submit study permit / student visa applications error-free, with full attention to completeness and accuracy.
- Draft client forms and review supporting documentation — acceptance letters, proof of funds, GIC, financial documents — against current visa-office guidelines.
- Ensure all visa requirements are met before filing.
- Track and manage deadlines, intake dates, follow-ups, and application statuses.

Client Coordination

- Communicate with students and families to collect, review, and verify documentation.
- Provide regular updates and explain next steps clearly and professionally.
- Guide clients on statements of purpose / letters of explanation, biometrics, medicals, and student-specific requirements.

Collaboration & Quality Assurance

- Work closely with RCICs, licensed advisers, and counsellors to ensure filings meet regulatory standards.
- Maintain intake documentation, checklists, and case notes on the CRM.
- Keep an audit-ready file structure, both digital and physical.

Adaptability & Growth

- Support related case types when needed (e.g., assisting on a student dependant or spousal open work permit alongside your primary student files).
- Stay current with evolving admissions and study permit policies across destinations.

Ideal Candidate

- 1–4 years of relevant experience in student admissions processing, immigration, legal, or administrative roles.
- Knowledge of visa / study visa processing for one or more countries is preferable.
- Familiarity with Canada as a destination (exposure to US/UK/NZ/Australia/ Canada is a plus).
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Comfortable with technology and CRM tools.
- Prior work with RCICs, law firms, authorized consultancies, or admissions teams is preferred.

What We Offer

- Mentorship from experienced Consultants, Lawyers, and seasoned case experts.
- Exposure to real-life immigration strategies beyond templated workflows.
- Competitive compensation with vertical-based growth paths.
- The opportunity to grow into specialized roles within a firm with a 31-year legacy.

Benefits

- Paid sick time
- Provident Fund

Performance incentives are applicable to this role. Unlimited earning potential with attractive incentives tied to admissions and visa approvals.
