We are looking for a Business Intelligence & MIS Analyst who can convert business data into clear dashboards, graphs, insights and actionable recommendations for management.

The role is not limited to preparing reports. The candidate should be able to study business data, identify trends and problems, and clearly explain:

What is happening → Why it is happening → What action management should take.

Key Responsibilities

1. Business Performance Analysis

- Analyse daily, weekly and monthly business performance.
- Track sales, orders, revenue, returns, cancellations and other key KPIs.
- Compare performance across Amazon, Flipkart, Meesho, JioMart, B2B and other channels.
- Identify growth and decline trends.

2. Product & SKU Analysis

- Identify top-selling and low-selling products.
- Analyse SKU-wise sales trends.
- Identify fast-moving and slow-moving products.
- Identify products where sales are falling.
- Compare product performance across marketplaces.
- Highlight products requiring pricing, listing, advertising, stock or other action.

3. Profitability Analysis

- Analyse product-level revenue, cost and margin where data is available.
- Identify high-revenue but low-margin products.
- Identify products/categories contributing most to profit.
- Highlight unusual margin changes.

4. Inventory Analysis

- Analyse stock movement.
- Identify rapid-moving and slow-moving inventory.
- Identify ageing and excess inventory.
- Highlight potential stock-out situations.
- Provide recommendations for replenishment and inventory action.

5. Marketplace Analysis

- Compare Amazon, Flipkart, Meesho, JioMart and other channels.
- Identify which marketplace/products are performing better or worse.
- Analyse returns, cancellations and order trends.
- Highlight unusual changes requiring investigation.





6. Sales Team Analysis

- Track salesperson-wise leads, orders, conversion and revenue.
- Compare team/member performance.
- Identify performance gaps and improvement opportunities.
- Create management reports for the sales team.

7. Management Dashboards

Build and maintain easy-to-understand dashboards using:

- Power BI
- Advanced Excel
- Google Sheets / Looker Studio where required

Dashboards should clearly show:

- What is performing well
- What is declining
- What requires attention
- Recommended action

8. Automated Reporting

- Reduce manual report preparation.
- Connect and consolidate data from Excel, Google Sheets, marketplace reports and other business systems.
- Standardise recurring MIS reports.
- Maintain accurate and reliable data.

9. Management Insights

The candidate must not simply submit numbers.

Every important report should highlight:

- Key finding
- Problem / opportunity
- Possible reason
- Recommended action
- Priority

Example of Expected Output

Instead of:

"Product ABC sales = 1,240 units."

The analyst should be able to report:

"ABC 5 KG is currently the highest-selling SKU. Sales increased 22% over the previous period. Stock cover is low. Recommended action: replenish stock immediately and review whether additional inventory should be allocated."

Qualification

Bachelor's degree in any relevant field such as:

Relevant practical experience and skills will be given more importance than the exact degree.

Experience

2–5 years preferred.

Candidates with 1–2 years of strong hands-on Power BI + Advanced Excel + business reporting experience may also be considered.
