- Direct 24/7 Patient Care: Treat acute illnesses, injuries, and sports-related trauma, and manage chronic conditions like asthma or diabetes for boarding students on a rotational or on-call residential schedule.
- Medication & Treatment Management: Administer prescribed daily medications, manage first-aid supplies, and execute emergency treatments (such as IV fluids, injections, or CPR) when required.
- Boarding & Residential Collaboration: Liaise closely with the Head of Boarding, housemasters, and housemistresses regarding student health statuses, overnight care, and isolation protocols for communicable illnesses.
- Emergency Response & Safety: Coordinate emergency transport or off-campus medical consultations, and train residential staff on basic first aid, CPR, and AED use.
- Health Records & Compliance:
Maintain confidential student health histories, immunization records, and prepare medical kits and instructions for school trips.
Qualifications & Skills
- Licensure: Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license from the relevant national or state nursing council.
- Certifications: Current CPR, BLS, and First Aid certification (Instructor certification is often preferred).
- Experience: Prior clinical experience in pediatric, emergency, or boarding school nursing environments.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
