AVP – Business Intelligence and Insights Group (BIIG)

Location: Gurugram
Reporting To: Head-BIIG, CVP

About the Role

Join us as AVP – BIIG and lead our centralized business intelligence and analytics function. You’ll drive data-driven decision-making, champion automation, and foster a robust data culture across the organization. This is a high-impact, techno-functional leadership role working closely with sales channels, ops functions, and data engineering teams to deliver actionable insights and scalable BI solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage reporting requirements for sales channels and ops functions, including CXO-level dashboards and performance management.
- Define and execute the BI strategy, fostering a data-driven culture and rationalizing information overload.
- Ensure timely,



accurate delivery of reports and dashboards, leveraging automation and digital assets in collaboration with technology and data engineering teams.
- Integrate analytics with reporting assets, utilizing Python for data analysis, modeling, and workflow automation.
- Collaborate with data engineering teams to design, implement, and optimize data pipelines and architectures using AWS, Redshift, and other cloud technologies.
- Identify opportunities to automate and standardize reporting and analytics processes.
- Coach and mentor a team of 5-10 professionals, including external partners.
- Work closely with senior leadership/CXOs to understand business needs and deliver actionable insights.

Required Skills & Competencies

- Master’s degree (M.Sc., M.Tech., MBA, or any quantitative field) preferred.
- 12–15 years of experience leading business intelligence teams, preferably in top bank or insurance company
- Proven experience working with senior leadership/CXO stakeholders.
- Experience in standardizing, streamlining, and automating business reporting processes.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

Techno-Functional Attributes

- Ability to bridge business requirements, translating complex needs into scalable BI and analytics products.
- Robust analytical mindset with a passion for driving efficiency, challenging the status quo, and leading change initiatives.
- Domain understanding of the BFSI industry, sales channels, and ops functions.
