Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced and knowledgeable Part-Time Finance Faculty to teach and mentor students in the areas of Finance, Accounting, Financial Management, and related management subjects. The faculty member will be responsible for delivering engaging and practical classroom sessions, simplifying financial concepts, and helping students develop a strong understanding of financial principles and their real-world applications.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and deliver engaging lectures on Finance and Accounting-related subjects.
- Explain financial concepts, theories, tools, and techniques in a clear and practical manner.
- Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, presentations, notes, case studies, and practical exercises.
- Incorporate real-world examples, business cases, financial reports, and current industry practices into classroom teaching.
- Teach topics such as:
- Financial Management
- Management Accounting
- Financial Accounting
- Cost Accounting
- Corporate Finance
- Investment & Portfolio Management
- Financial Markets & Institutions
- Working Capital Management
- Budgeting & Financial Planning
- Business Economics and related areas, as required.
- Conduct classroom activities, discussions, case studies, assignments, and presentations to encourage student participation.
- Evaluate students through assignments, tests, internal assessments, projects, and examinations.
- Provide constructive feedback and academic guidance to students.
- Support students in understanding the practical application of finance concepts in business and industry.
- Maintain student attendance,



academic records, and teaching documentation as required by the institute.
- Coordinate with the Academic Department/HOD regarding syllabus completion, assessments, examinations, and academic schedules.
- Complete the assigned syllabus within the prescribed academic timeline.
- Stay updated with current financial practices, business trends, regulations, and industry developments.
- Mentor students and guide them in developing professional knowledge and skills relevant to the finance sector.

Preferred Profile

- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in teaching, corporate finance, accounting, banking, financial services, or a combination of academic and industry experience.
- MBA (Finance) / CA qualification.
- Prior experience teaching undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma, or professional students will be an advantage.
- Candidates with both industry exposure and teaching experience will be preferred.

Working Arrangement

- Part-Time Faculty Position
- Classes will be scheduled as per the academic timetable.
- Faculty will be required to attend classes on the assigned teaching days/hours.
- Additional academic responsibilities, such as assessments, examinations, evaluation, or student mentoring, may be assigned as per institute requirements.
- Remuneration will be based on the number of classes/hours assigned, as per the agreed terms.

Pay: ₹500.00 - ₹1,500.00 per hour
