Role Overview

In this role, you will work on cutting-edge initiatives to fine-tune large language models by grounding advanced sports analytics and fantasy-sports domain logic. You will apply deep knowledge of fantasy-sports ecosystem mechanics—including league setup, scoring rules, draft-value frameworks, and playoff projections—to translate complex league rules into deterministic spreadsheet logic. You will help evaluate AI model capabilities across sports and fantasy tools so generated outputs meet real-world professional standards.

Responsibilities

- Define discovery parameters such as sport, league size, scoring format, and roster settings, along with guardrails for positional limits, PPR versus standard scoring, and tier-based value versus raw points.
- Co-design interview workflows and validate context files, including player projections, roster exports, and customized scoring-rule sets.
- Verify scoring formulas, standings and playoff logic, draft-value calculations, and validation lists across fantasy draft boards and game scoreboards.
- Review and sign off on AI-generated outputs for alignment with professional sports and fantasy-industry practice.

Requirements

- 5+ years in sports analytics, fantasy-sports content or tools development,



or league commissioning.
- Deep hands-on familiarity with scoring systems such as PPR versus standard, draft rankings, player tiers, roster limits, and standings tiebreaker logic.
- Strong professional writing skills and the ability to translate complex league rules into deterministic spreadsheet formulas and structured parameters.
- Solid problem-solving abilities for designing, evaluating, and calibrating fantasy draft boards, scoreboards, and projection models.
- Personal desktop or laptop with reliable high-speed internet for remote work.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in AI evaluation, data annotation, content review, quality assurance, or a related analytical role is preferred but not required.

Offer Details

- 4 openings.
- $50/hour for US candidates.
- Up to 40 hours per week, with at least 4 hours of overlap with PST.
- Weekend on-call availability required; part-time engagement is acceptable.
- Start immediately.

Evaluation Process
