About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer (.NET) to join our development team in Chandigarh.

The ideal candidate will have solid hands-on experience with C#, ASP.NET, ASP.NET MVC, .NET Framework, .NET Core, SQL Server, and RESTful API development, along with a strong understanding of software engineering principles.

You will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining secure, scalable, and high-performance web and enterprise applications while working closely with developers, QA engineers, project managers, business analysts, and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain web and enterprise applications using Microsoft .NET technologies.

- Develop and maintain applications using C#, ASP.NET, ASP.NET MVC, .NET Framework, .NET Core, and SQL Server.

- Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.

- Design, develop, integrate, and maintain RESTful APIs, web services, and third-party integrations.

- Write clean, reusable, scalable, secure, and maintainable code.

- Contribute to application architecture, database design, and technical decision-making.





- Troubleshoot, debug, optimize, and enhance existing applications.

- Identify and resolve performance, scalability, and security-related issues.

- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding, quality, security, and performance standards.

- Collaborate with Project Managers, Business Analysts, QA Engineers, UI/UX Designers, and other developers throughout the software development lifecycle.

- Participate in Agile/Scrum activities, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

- Evaluate existing processes and suggest improvements to application performance, code quality, and development practices.

- Ensure timely delivery of reliable, high-quality software solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 5+ years of professional experience in .NET application development.

- Strong hands-on experience with:

- C#

- ASP.NET / ASP.NET MVC

- .NET Framework

- .NET Core

- SQL Server

- Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), SOLID principles, design patterns, and software architecture.

- Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs and web services.

- Good knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and Bootstrap.

- Experience with Git or other version control systems.





- Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and SDLC practices.

- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to develop efficient, secure, and maintainable code.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills.

- Ability to work independently and effectively within a team.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with modern frontend frameworks such as Angular, React.js, or Vue.js.

- Experience with Entity Framework or other ORM frameworks.

- Knowledge of Microsoft Azure or AWS.

- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

- Understanding of application security, scalability, and performance optimization.

- Experience integrating third-party APIs, cloud services, and external systems.

- Knowledge of modern software architecture and development practices.
