Job Title: Training & Placement Officer (TPO)

Experience: Minimum 4 years of relevant experience as a Training & Placement Officer / Placement Officer in a college, university, or educational institution

Location: Rau, Indore, Madhya Pradesh

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Training & Placement Officer to lead the institute’s training and placement activities. The candidate will be responsible for building strong relationships with companies, bringing placement opportunities for students, coordinating recruitment drives, and developing training programs to improve students’ employability.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with companies, recruiters, HR professionals, and industry partners.
- Identify and bring new companies to the campus for recruitment and placement opportunities.
- Plan and coordinate campus placement drives, recruitment processes, interviews, and selection activities.
- Coordinate with companies regarding job descriptions, eligibility criteria, salary packages, interview schedules, and joining formalities.
- Develop and maintain a database of companies, recruiters, students, placement records, and alumni.
- Prepare and maintain regular placement reports, MIS, placement statistics, and management updates.
- Plan and coordinate training programs for students on aptitude, communication skills, interview preparation, resume writing, group discussions, soft skills, and employability skills.
- Conduct pre-placement activities and ensure students are properly prepared for recruitment drives.
- Coordinate with faculty members and academic departments for student participation in placement and training activities.
- Maintain regular communication with students regarding placement opportunities, eligibility, interview schedules, and selection results.
- Organize career fairs, job fairs, industry interactions, guest sessions, workshops, and recruitment events.




- Build relationships with alumni and use the alumni network for career opportunities and industry connect.
- Track students’ placement status, offers, joining status, and other relevant placement data.
- Ensure timely completion of placement-related documentation and records.
- Work towards improving the number and quality of placement opportunities available to students.
- Provide regular reports and updates to the management regarding placement activities, company visits, recruitment drives, and student placements.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience as a Training & Placement Officer / Placement Officer, preferably in a college or university.
- Strong corporate and industry networking skills.
- Positive communication, negotiation, coordination, and relationship-management skills.
- Strong understanding of campus recruitment and placement processes.
- Good knowledge of student training and employability development programs.
- Strong follow-up and networking abilities with HR professionals and recruiters.
- Good MS Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint, and MIS/reporting skills.
- Ability to handle multiple placement activities and deadlines independently.
- Presentable, professional, and confident personality.
- Willingness to travel for industry meetings, corporate visits, job fairs, and placement-related activities when required.

Educational Qualification

Graduate/Postgraduate in any relevant discipline. Candidates with an MBA/PGDM in HR, Marketing, Management, or related fields will be preferred.

Pay: ₹12,260.38 - ₹39,058.43 per month
