About the Role

Raxon Software is hiring one Software Developer with 1–3 years of experience to work on Python, React, and AI-related projects in a daily in-person setup (Monday–Saturday).

This is a full time, in-person role involving 1:1 collaboration with the founder of the company. Work will be carried out primarily from public, work-friendly cafés and occasional co-working spaces, mostly in and around BTM Layout and nearby areas, with locations changing day-to-day for a flexible, relaxed, and productive environment.

Work is client-project based, so the project type and technology mix vary from one engagement to the next. You should be comfortable picking up new requirements and switching context as projects change.

The company currently operates as a single-person setup, and only one candidate will be hired.

This role is open to developers who are fully comfortable with close, in-person collaboration in a small, focused environment rather than a traditional office setup, and who enjoy hands-on coding, a non-corporate work culture, and real project ownership.

⚠ Shortlisted candidates will be required to attend an initial in-person meeting at a café before any further discussion.

Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain applications using Python (backend) and React (frontend)
- Contribute to AI/automation tasks, model integration, and workflow development
- Collaborate daily on planning, debugging, and problem-solving
- Write clean, maintainable, production-ready code
- Work with APIs, data flows, and modular component design
- Take ownership of assigned modules from development through deployment
- Participate in weekly progress reviews and sprint-style tasks




- Use Git/GitHub for version control

Required Experience & SkillsMust-Have Skills

- 1–3 years of hands-on experience with Python and React
- Good understanding of REST APIs
- Experience with Git/GitHub workflows
- Ability to debug, troubleshoot, and solve problems independently
- Proactive communication — comfortable asking questions, flagging blockers early, and talking through problems out loud rather than sitting silently when stuck
- Your own laptop for daily work (a work laptop is not provided)

Good-to-Have Skills

- Working knowledge of TypeScript
- Exposure to AI/ML workflows, automation, or model integration
- Experience with PostgreSQL or similar databases
- Familiarity with Flutter for mobile app development
- Basic experience with Docker for development or deployment workflows
- Ability to read or collaborate using Figma designs
- Basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS preferred)

Work Environment

- In-person work only — no remote or hybrid option
- Primary work location: safe, well-known public cafés, mostly in and around BTM Layout
- Location changes each day
- Occasional work sessions from co-working spaces
- Wi-Fi is available at almost all the cafés we work from

Compensation

₹2.4 LPA to ₹3.6 LPA (₹20,000 – ₹30,000 per month)

Based on experience and performance.

In addition: Daily café expenses during work hours (lunch, snacks, tea, coffee) are paid directly by the founder — no out-of-pocket cost to you.
