Job Overview

MarKey Technologies is looking for a Social Media Executive with approximately one year of relevant experience to join our remote team.

The successful candidate will help manage our social media presence, develop content ideas, maintain content calendars, engage with audiences, monitor trends and analyze social media performance.

This role is suitable for someone who is creative, organized, comfortable working independently and interested in building strong digital brands.

Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day social media activities across relevant platforms.
- Plan and maintain social media content calendars.
- Create, schedule and publish posts, reels, stories and other social media content.
- Write explicit and engaging captions and social media copy.
- Research industry trends, hashtags, competitors and relevant topics.
- Monitor comments, messages and audience engagement.
- Track social media performance and prepare basic reports.
- Identify opportunities to improve reach, engagement and audience growth.
- Maintain consistency with brand guidelines and communication standards.
- Coordinate with other team members on content and marketing activities.

Requirements

- Approximately 1 year of experience in social media management, social media marketing or a related digital marketing role.
- Good understanding of major social media platforms.




- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Basic understanding of social media analytics and performance metrics.
- Good content writing and research skills.
- Creative approach to developing social media content.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Good attention to detail and organizational skills.

Preferred Skills

The following are helpful but not mandatory:

- Canva or similar design tools.
- Basic video and reel editing.
- Meta Business Suite.
- Meta Ads.
- WordPress.
- Basic SEO knowledge.
- Google Analytics or Google Search Console.
- Email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp or Klaviyo.
- Influencer marketing.
