Job Summary
This role drives the conceptualization, design, and delivery of advanced solutions within STD cell characterization, ensuring alignment with industry-leading practices and client requirements. The individual provides strategic technical direction, serves as a subject matter expert, and fosters technical growth within the team. They are responsible for maintaining technology relevance, mentoring team members, and contributing to competency development and innovation in semiconductor product and sustenance delivery.
Key Responsibilities
1. Design and architect cell characterization methodologies using specialized EDA tools such as Cadence, Synopsys, and Mentor Graphics, ensuring robust solutions for semiconductor product development and sustenance.
2. Lead the implementation and optimization of STD cell characterization workflows, leveraging SPICE simulation and characterization platforms to achieve accurate timing, power, and performance analysis.
3. Serve as a subject matter expert in STD cell characterization technologies, advising the team on best practices and troubleshooting complex technical issues.
4. Drive knowledge enhancement by introducing advanced characterization techniques and evaluating emerging technologies to ensure solutions remain current and competitive.
5. Mentor and train team members on cell characterization processes, EDA tools, and industry standards, conducting targeted workshops and technical sessions.
6. Develop technical documentation, whitepapers,
and competency collateral to support market trend analysis and capability building within the STD cell characterization domain.
7. Gather and analyze client specifications, delivering tailored STD cell characterization solutions that address both technical requirements and business objectives.
8. Recommend and implement client-centric value creation initiatives by integrating industry best practices and innovative approaches in STD cell characterization.
Skill Requirements
1. Expert proficiency in STD cell characterization, including statistical and electrical characterization methods.
2. Excellent knowledge of EDA tools such as Cadence, Synopsys, and Mentor Graphics for cell characterization tasks.
3. Advanced skills in SPICE simulation, timing analysis, and power modeling for semiconductor cells.
4. Solid understanding of semiconductor device physics, design flows, and process technologies relevant to STD cell characterization.
5. Robust ability to mentor, train, and develop technical competency within the team.
