Job Description:
The Senior Officer - CAT - SPARC is responsible for supporting the overall operations of the Customer Acceptance Team (CAT) within the SPARC framework. This role involves evaluating customer applications, ensuring compliance with company policies, conducting risk assessments, and enhancing customer satisfaction. The Senior Officer will collaborate with various departments to streamline processes, address customer inquiries, and implement improvements that contribute to the team's efficiency.





Key Responsibilities:

- Assess customer applications for insurance policies, verifying accuracy and compliance with underwriting guidelines
- Collaborate with underwriters and other stakeholders to clarify any discrepancies in applications
- Conduct risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate potential issues
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving concerns efficiently
- Generate reports on application statuses and team performance, identifying areas for improvement
- Implement process enhancements to ensure swift and efficient operations within the CAT
- Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices to maintain compliance and service quality

Skills and Tools Required:

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Familiarity with insurance operations and underwriting processes
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented setting
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Knowledge of customer relationship management (CRM) tools is a plus
- Experience in the insurance industry or customer service management is preferred
