JOB DESCRIPTION – TECHNICAL TRAINER
Programming Languages & Data Analytics
Experience: Minimum 3 years; preferably 3–8 years
Qualification: B.E./B.Tech./M.E./M.Tech./MCA/M.Sc. – CSE, IT, AI&DS;, Data Science or relevant discipline
Target Learners: Engineering College Students
Primary Areas: C, C++, Java, Python, Data Structures, Algorithms & Data Analytics
Key Roles & Responsibilities
1. Programming Language Training
Conduct structured classroom and laboratory training in C, C++, Java and Python for engineering students. Cover programming fundamentals, control structures, functions, arrays, strings, OOP concepts, exception handling, collections and basic application development. Ensure students can independently write, execute, test and debug programs.
2. Programming Fundamentals & Logical Thinking
Develop strong programming foundations through problem-solving, logical reasoning, algorithms, flowcharts and pseudocode. Train students to understand a problem, design a logical solution and convert it into efficient code using C, C++, Java or Python.
3. Data Structures & Algorithms
Provide practical training in arrays, linked lists, stacks, queues, trees, searching, sorting, hashing, recursion and basic algorithms. Introduce time and space complexity and train students to solve coding problems efficiently.
4. Python Programming & Data Analytics
Conduct practical Python training covering Python fundamentals, functions, lists, tuples, dictionaries, file handling,
OOP and exception handling, followed by Python-based Data Analytics using NumPy, Pandas, Matplotlib and Seaborn. Train students to work with real-world datasets and derive meaningful insights.
5. Hands-on Coding & Laboratory Practice
Conduct regular coding and laboratory sessions with beginner, intermediate and advanced-level exercises. Provide live coding demonstrations, debugging support and individual guidance. Ensure students receive adequate practical exposure rather than relying only on theoretical instruction.
6. Placement-Oriented Technical Training
Prepare engineering students for campus placements, coding assessments, online programming tests and technical interviews. Conduct coding practice, debugging exercises, programming challenges and mock technical rounds based on industry recruitment requirements.
7. Technical Assessment & Performance Tracking
Conduct coding tests, programming assessments, practical examinations, assignments, quizzes and mock tests. Analyse student performance, identify technical skill gaps and maintain individual and batch-level progress records. Provide remedial training for weak students and advanced challenges for high-performing students.
8. Project & Technical Mentoring
Guide students in programming, Python, Data Analytics and final-year projects. Support problem identification, technology selection, coding, debugging, testing, documentation and project presentation. Encourage students to develop practical, industry-relevant projects.
9. Coding Competitions, Hackathons & Technical Activities
Organise and mentor students for coding competitions, hackathons, technical symposiums,
programming clubs and workshops. Identify high-performing students and provide advanced programming, problem-solving and competitive coding practice.
10. Industry Readiness, Mentoring & Reporting
Align technical training with current IT/software industry requirements. Mentor students on technical career paths, certifications, Git/GitHub and interview preparation. Maintain training calendars, attendance, syllabus completion, assessment results, student progress and monthly training reports.
