About the Role

Unique Enterprises is looking for an energetic and responsible Agriculture & Urban Farming Executive to support our growing activities in terrace farming, kitchen/house farming, urban farming and agricultural solutions.

The candidate will be responsible for handling customer enquiries, supporting inbound sales, coordinating farming requirements, and assisting customers in setting up and maintaining their farming activities.

Key Responsibilities

1. Customer Enquiry & Inbound Sales

- Handle day-to-day enquiries received through phone, WhatsApp and other channels.
- Understand customer requirements related to terrace farming, kitchen gardening and urban farming.
- Explain suitable products, services and farming solutions to customers.
- Follow up with prospective customers and convert enquiries into sales.
- Maintain proper records of enquiries, follow-ups and sales.

2. Terrace & House Farming Assistance

- Assist customers in planning and setting up terrace and house farming systems.
- Guide customers regarding suitable crops, containers, growing media, seeds, irrigation and basic farming practices.
- Coordinate installation/setup activities at customer locations.
- Visit sites when required for assessment, installation or follow-up.
- Assist customers in understanding day-to-day maintenance of their farming systems.

3. Urban Farming Activities

- Support urban farming projects, including terrace gardens, kitchen gardens and small-scale vegetable production.
- Assist in implementation of organic/natural farming practices where applicable.
- Monitor farming activities and coordinate with field staff, farmers and customers.
- Maintain basic records of crop, plantation, input and maintenance activities.

4. Sales & Business Development

- Generate sales from incoming enquiries and existing customers.




- Identify opportunities for additional products and services.
- Support marketing and promotional activities related to urban and terrace farming.
- Build good relationships with customers and encourage repeat business/referrals.

5. Field & Operational Support

- Coordinate with the field team for farming-related assignments.
- Assist in arranging seeds, plants, fertilizers, growing media, irrigation materials and other inputs.
- Ensure assigned work is completed on time.
- Report daily work progress to the concerned supervisor/management.

Desired Skills

- Basic knowledge of agriculture, horticulture, gardening or farming.
- Interest in urban farming, terrace farming and kitchen gardening.
- Good communication and customer-handling skills.
- Basic knowledge of smartphones, WhatsApp and Excel/Google Sheets.
- Ability to communicate with customers professionally.
- Willingness to travel for local field visits.
- Ability to work independently as well as with a team.
- Sales-oriented and target-focused approach.

Qualification

- Diploma/ Degree in Agriculture, Horticulture or related field will be an advantage.
- Freshers with a genuine interest in agriculture and urban farming are encouraged to apply.

Compensation

Starting Salary: ₹10,000 – ₹12,000 per month

In addition to the fixed salary, the employee will be eligible for performance-based incentives linked to sales, customer conversion and assigned work.

Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who is practical, energetic, willing to learn and comfortable interacting with customers as well as working in the field. A candidate who has an interest in agriculture and can combine farming knowledge + customer service + sales will be preferred.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹12,000.00 per month
