About the Role

We are looking for a highly qualified and experienced French tutor to provide advanced French-language training at C1–C2 level.

The ideal candidate will be a native or near-native French speaker with recognised teaching qualifications and a solid understanding of advanced French grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, writing and professional communication.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver engaging C1–C2 French lessons tailored to the learner's individual level and objectives.
- Develop structured lesson plans and learning materials.
- Improve advanced speaking, listening, reading and writing skills.
- Provide detailed feedback and correction on pronunciation, grammar and written work.
- Build confidence in professional and everyday French communication.
- Prepare learners for DALF C1/C2 examinations, where required.
- Track progress and adapt lessons according to the learner's needs.

Requirements

- C1–C2 level French proficiency; native or near-native French preferred.
- Recognised qualification in French-language teaching, such as FLE, DAEFLE,



DELF/DALF examiner qualification, teaching degree or equivalent.
- Previous experience teaching advanced French learners.
- Excellent knowledge of French grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable, patient and professional approach.
- Experience with online teaching platforms is an advantage.

Preferred Qualifications

Candidates with one or more of the following are particularly welcome:

- FLE / FLS qualification
- DAEFLE
- French teaching degree or university qualification
- DELF/DALF examiner or preparation experience
- Experience teaching C1–C2 learners
- Experience teaching business or professional French
