SEO Intern – Job Description

Stipend: ₹5,000 – ₹7,000 per month
Duration: 3–6 Months

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented SEO Intern to join our digital marketing team. The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of SEO and a strong interest in learning search engine optimization, content marketing, keyword research, and website performance.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct keyword research using SEO tools.
- Assist with On-Page SEO, including meta titles, meta descriptions, headings, URLs, and internal linking.
- Support Off-Page SEO activities such as backlink building, directory submissions, and forum participation.
- Create and optimize SEO-friendly content for websites and blogs.
- Perform basic competitor and keyword analysis.
- Assist with Google Business Profile (GMB) optimization and local SEO activities.
- Monitor website rankings, traffic, and keyword performance.
- Assist with Google Search Console and Google Analytics reports.
- Identify basic technical SEO issues and coordinate with the development team for improvements.
- Maintain SEO reports, backlink records, keyword tracking sheets, and performance reports.
- Stay updated with the latest Google algorithm updates and SEO trends.

Required Skills





- Basic understanding of SEO concepts.
- Knowledge of keyword research and SEO tools.
- Basic knowledge of Google Search Console and Google Analytics.
- Good written communication and content-writing skills.
- Basic understanding of HTML is an advantage.
- Familiarity with WordPress or other CMS platforms is a plus.
- Positive analytical and research skills.
- Willingness to learn and take responsibility.
