About the Role

Vedantu Early Learning (VEL) is looking for enthusiastic and passionate Phonics Teachers to conduct engaging one-to-one online tutoring sessions for young learners.

As a Phonics Teacher, you will help children develop their foundational phonics, pronunciation, reading, and early literacy skills through interactive online classes.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct one-to-one online phonics classes for young learners.
- Teach phonics concepts in a simple, engaging, and child-friendly manner.
- Help students develop letter-sound recognition, pronunciation, blending, and early reading skills.
- Keep children engaged and actively participating throughout the session.
- Adapt your teaching approach according to the child's learning level.
- Provide a positive and encouraging learning environment.
- Follow the prescribed curriculum and teaching methodology.
- Maintain punctuality and professionalism during online sessions.

Eligibility & Requirements

- Prior experience in teaching, tutoring, phonics, preschool, or early childhood education is preferred.
- Candidates with EdTech/online teaching experience will be preferred.
- Good spoken English with explicit pronunciation.




- Fluent in Telugu and English – Mandatory.
- Should be comfortable communicating with young learners in Telugu and English.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for teaching young children.
- Patient, energetic, friendly, and engaging personality.
- Comfortable conducting one-to-one online classes.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Must have a laptop/desktop and stable internet connection.

Compensation

- ₹250 per 1-hour session
- ₹125 per 30-minute session
- Payment is based on sessions conducted, as per the applicable company process.

Working Hours

Available teaching window: 4:00 PM – 9:00 PM

- Maximum teaching time: 4 hours per day
- Candidates should be available during the required evening slots.
- Actual teaching hours may depend on student schedules and session allocation.
