About the Role

We are looking for a highly creative and trend-focused Video Editor to join our influencer marketing agency in Adyar, Chennai. In this role, you will be responsible for editing high-engagement short-form and long-form video content for top brands and social media influencers.

Key Responsibilities

- Short-Form Editing: Cut raw footage from creators into high-impact Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and viral social media clips.
- Trend Adaptation: Stay updated with current internet culture, meme formats, and trending audio to implement them into brand campaigns.
- Post-Production: Enhance videos with dynamic motion graphics, engaging captions/subtitles, sound effects (SFX), and color grading.
- Content Strategy: Collaborate with the influencer marketing and creative teams to brainstorm video formats and execute client briefs.
- Asset Management: Organize and archive project files, raw footage, and final deliveries efficiently.

Requirements & Skills
- Technical Skills:



Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and CapCut (Desktop).
- Experience: 2+ years of experience editing digital content, ideally within an agency setup or directly with content creators.
- Portfolio: A showreel or drive link demonstrating short-form video edits, pacing skills, and kinetic typography is required.
- Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of social media platform algorithms and visual styles (pacing, hooks, retention editing).
- Education: A degree or diploma in Visual Communication (Viscom), Film, or Multimedia is preferred but not mandatory.
