We are seeking a creative, energetic, and customer-focused Fashion Designer – Customer & Field Operations to join our innovative team. This unique role combines your passion for fashion design with direct customer engagement in a dynamic field-based setting.

About the Role

This is a hands-on, field-based position where you will be the face of Silaio, bringing personalized fashion design directly to our customers. You will manage multiple daily appointments, traveling to customer locations within your assigned territory. We are looking for an individual who is confident, customer-friendly, comfortable with regular travel, and capable of managing appointments independently. Proficiency in operating a two-wheeler for local visits is essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct fashion consultations and design discussions with customers at their homes or designated locations.
- Understand customer requirements, including preferences, occasion, fabric choice, and desired aesthetic.
- Propose customized designs, styles, patterns, necklines, sleeves, silhouettes, and finishing details.
- Take accurate customer measurements and assess fitting requirements.
- Assist customers in selecting suitable designs based on their body type, personality, occasion, and fabric.
- Clearly and professionally explain design concepts to customers.
- Liaise with the Silaio design team to ensure accurate communication of customer requirements.
- Maintain precise customer details, measurements, design references, and order information according to Silaio's established processes.
- Capture photographs or design details as needed for order documentation.




- Follow up with customers for design confirmation, measurements, and other order-related needs.
- Travel within the assigned territory to conduct customer visits and appointments.
- Represent the Silaio brand professionally during all customer interactions.
- Ensure an exceptional customer experience from the initial consultation through to order completion.

Qualifications

Essential Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Fashion Designing or a related field.
- 0-3 years of experience in fashion design, boutique operations, tailoring, styling, or customer-facing fashion roles.
- Robust understanding of women's fashion, including garments, fabrics, fits, and styling.
- Proficiency in taking measurements and understanding garment construction.
- A creative eye for fashion and customization.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- A confident and presentable demeanor.
- Comfort with field work and local travel.
- Ability to operate a two-wheeler and possess a valid driving license.
- Capability to manage customer appointments independently.

Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of women's ethnic and western wear.
- Experience designing suits, kurtis, blouses, dresses, and custom outfits.
- Awareness of current fashion trends.
- Expertise in customer consultation and styling.
- Skill in fabric and color coordination.
