1. Lead the complete NPD process from customer requirement to production on handover.

2. Review customer drawings, specifications, and technical requirements.

3. Conduct product and manufacturing feasibility studies.

4. Lead design, prototype, trial, validation, and product approval activities.

5. Coordinate with Design, Costing, Purchase, Production, Planning, and Quality teams.

6. Monitor NPD project timelines and ensure timely completion.

7. Drive value engineering and cost reduction initiatives.

8. Review and approve BOMs, drawings, process plans, and technical documents.

9. Coordinate ECN/ECR and engineering change activities.

10. Resolve technical issues during prototype and production trials.

11. Ensure proper documentation and revision control.

12. Monitor NPD KPIs and drive continuous improvement.

13. Ensure smooth transfer of new products from NPD to production authority

14. Approve NPD drawings, BOMs, and technical specifications.

16. Ini ate and approved engineering changes as per company procedure.

17. Recommend rejection of products not meeting specifications.

18. Allocate NPD resources and prioritize development activities.

Required Skills

Strong knowledge of NPD processes.

AutoCAD / SolidWorks / Creo knowledge.

Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication and manufacturing processes.

GD&T; and drawing interpretation.
