JOB DESCRIPTION Accounts Executive – Financial Reporting, Compliance & Forecasting Company: Katalysst CPG Consultants LLP Department: Finance & Accounts Location: World Trade Center, Bengaluru Experience: 3–5 Years Employment Type: Full-Time Reporting To: Finance Head Role Overview We are looking for an experienced Accounts Executive who can independently manage end-to-end accounting and finance operations of the organization. The candidate will be responsible for the complete accounting cycle, including bookkeeping, AP/AR, bank and ledger reconciliation, GST/TDS, month-end closing, MIS, financial reporting, audit coordination, budgeting and forecasting. Candidates with experience in E-commerce, Retail, D2C, FMCG, Consumer Products or Distribution will be strongly preferred. Key Responsibilities End-to-End Accounting • Independently manage day-to-day accounting and maintain complete books of accounts. • Handle AP, AR, General Ledger, Journal Entries and Bank Reconciliation. • Manage purchase, sales, expenses, payments and receipts accounting. • Perform monthly closing and ensure books are accurate and up to date. • Monitor outstanding receivables and payables and ensure timely follow-up. • Maintain proper accounting documentation and financial records. Taxation & Statutory Compliance • Handle GST, TDS and other applicable statutory compliances and filing. • Prepare required workings, reconciliations and supporting documents. • Coordinate with GST and other Govt. departments on Notices or Orders. • Ensure compliance-related records are maintained accurately. • Ability to handle Import documentation and clearance as per customs and other regulatory requirement.



Internal & Statutory Audit • Independently coordinate and support internal and statutory audits. • Prepare audit schedules, reconciliations and supporting documents. • Coordinate with auditors and consultants and ensure timely closure of audit requirements. • Identify accounting/control gaps and support process improvements. Financial Reporting & MIS • Prepare revenue, expense and profitability reports. • Conduct Budget vs. Actual and variance analysis. • Provide financial insights and reports to management for decision-making. • Prepare monthly P&L;, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow and MIS reports. • Support month-end and year-end financial closure. Industrial Shed No 33/4, 6th Main,1st Block, Nandini Layout, Kanteerava Studio, Peenya Main Road Bengaluru (Bengaluru (Bangalore))-560096 E-commerce / Retail Accounting – Preferred • Handle reconciliation of marketplace sales, settlements, returns, refunds, commissions and deductions. • Reconcile payment gateways, marketplace statements and bank transactions. • Track receivables, claims, deductions and settlement differences. • Resolve discrepancies with internal teams and marketplace partners. Budgeting & Forecasting • Assist in preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts. • Prepare monthly/quarterly financial projections. • Monitor actual performance against budgets.



• Highlight significant variances and support cost-control initiatives. Required Skills • Robust knowledge of end-to-end accounting and financial accounting principles. • Hands-on experience in GST, TDS, AP, AR, GL and reconciliations. • Strong financial reporting and MIS preparation skills. • Practical exposure to budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis. • Advanced MS Excel skills – Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIFS and data analysis. • Experience with Tally Prime or similar accounting software. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • High attention to detail and accuracy. • Strong analytical knowledge on product Pricing and Cost analysis. • Ability to independently manage finance activities and meet deadlines. • Good communication and stakeholder coordination skills. Education & Experience Qualification: • Any Graduate in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related discipline. • B.Com / M.Com / MBA Finance preferred. • CA Inter / professional accounting qualification will be an added advantage but is not mandatory. Experience: • 3–5 years of relevant experience in Accounts & Finance. • Experience in E-commerce, Retail, D2C, FMCG, Consumer Products or Distribution will be preferred. • Candidates with hands-on exposure to financial reporting, audit, reconciliation and forecasting will be given preference. Ideal Candidate A candidate who can independently manage core accounting and reconciliations while effectively supporting financial reporting, statutory/internal audits, budgeting and forecasting.
