About the Role
VC Fund Operations Manager
This role reports to the Fund Manager

The Fund Operations Manager will play a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating fund operations and accounting for an early-stage venture capital fund. This position requires a versatile individual with 3-5 years of experience, capable of managing relationships with various vendors and ensuring the smooth operation of the fund’s routine operational functions. The role would also entail liaisoning with vendors for ongoing fund compliances.

Key ResponsibilitiesCandidate shall be responsible for:

Fund Operations Management:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the venture capital fund
- Coordinate with vendors providing fund administration, legal, tax,



and other operational services
- Ensure productive execution of capital calls, distributions, and other fund activities

Accounting and Financial Reporting:
- Coordinate with external accountants and auditors to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
- Oversee the preparation of financial statements, investor reports, and other financial documentation
- Ensure proper accounting practices and controls are in place

Vendor Management:
- Act as the primary point of contact for all vendors providing operational, compliance, risk, and accounting services
- Negotiate contracts and service level agreements with vendors
- Monitor vendor performance and ensure adherence to agreed-upon terms

Strategic Initiatives:
- Contribute to the development and implementation of operational strategies to enhance fund performance and efficiency
- Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives within the fund
