About the Role Thebackbone of TD SYNNEX's global network is routing, switching, andincreasingly SD-WAN. Across more than 100 countries, hundreds ofsites, and three distinct regional engineering teams, the decisionsmade at the routing and switching layer - how traffic flows, howsites fail over, how edge connectivity is managed - toucheverything. Today, those decisions are made regionally, without aglobal solutions-level owner who can set direction, resolve thehardest problems, and ensure consistency.Thisrole is that owner. As our Routing, Switching & SD-WANSolutions Engineer based in India, you will serve as the globaltechnical authority for network infrastructure design across alllayers: campus and data center switching, WAN and carrierconnectivity, and SD-WAN edge architecture. You will designsolutions for the most complex network challenges in theenvironment, set global standards, and act as the senior escalationpoint for routing and switching issues that regional teams cannotresolve on their own.This is a design andarchitecture role. You should be equally comfortable drawing anetwork topology, writing a technical standard, debugging a BGProute leak, and presenting a recommendation to leadership. We arenot looking for someone who runs tickets - we are looking forsomeone who eliminates the class of problem that generatesthem.What You'llDo Design andarchitect routing and switching solutions for TD SYNNEX's globalnetwork - campus LAN, WAN, data center interconnect, and SD-WANedge Serve as the global escalation point forcomplex routing, switching, and SD-WAN issues - own the problem,lead the resolution, document the fix as astandard Define and maintain global networkdesign standards: topology templates, routing policy, Qo Sframeworks, VLAN strategy, and SD-WAN deploymentmodels Evaluate and recommend SD-WANarchitecture direction - provider selection, edge deploymentmodels, application-aware routing, and zero-touch provisioningapproaches Review network designs for new sitebuild-outs, warehouse deployments, and corporate office expansionsacross all regions beforeimplementation Partner with the AmericasNetwork Lead, Daniel Salamanca in Europe, and the APJ engineer toalign regional implementations with globalstandards Collaborate with the India Automation& Observability engineer to define what network telemetry andalerting looks like for routing and switchinginfrastructure Lead cross-functional engagementon network requirements for current business initiatives -acquisitions, new market entries, applicationmigrations Qualifications YouMust Have: 10-15 years ofenterprise network engineering experience with a strong focus ondesign and architecture, not justoperations Expert-level knowledge of BGP, OSPF,EIGRP, and spanning tree - including how they interact and wherethey break at scale Hands-on design anddeployment experience with SD-WAN platforms (Cisco Viptela/SD-WAN,VMware Velo Cloud, Fortinet, or similar) Deepunderstanding of enterprise LAN/WAN architecture: campus switching,redundancy design, Qo S, and carrier circuitmanagement Experience working across amulti-site,



multi-country network environment and setting standardsthat regional teams can execute Strong writtenand spoken English; able to document architecture decisions andpresent recommendations clearly to both engineers andleadership Comfortable operating with highautonomy as a global SME with peers across multiple timezones Nice toHave: CCIE Routing &Switching; or Enterprise Infrastructure (active or prior); CCNPEnterprise at minimum Experience with datacenter switching and fabric architectures (Cisco ACI,VXLAN/EVPN) Familiarity with carrier and ISPrelationships - circuit ordering, SLA management,peering Exposure to network design in a globalIT distribution, logistics, or e-commerceenvironment Experience with multi-vendorenvironments and the ability to design vendor-agnosticsolutions WhatThis RoleOffers Thebroadest technical scope on the global network team - routing andswitching touches every site, every region, and every othersolution area A senior seat in a newlyestablished India Solutions Hub designed to be the technical centerof gravity for TD SYNNEX's global network engineeringfunction Direct collaboration with the GlobalDirector of Network Engineering and regional leads in the Americasand Europe The chance to define globalnetwork architecture standards from the ground up - not inheritsomeone else's decisions Clear growth path: asTD SYNNEX expands and the network team matures, this role ispositioned to grow into a principal or staff engineerfunction Knowledge,Skills and Experience: 10 to15 Years of relevant workexperience. Bachelor's Degree with NetworkEngineering or Related field of studyrequired. Other Education / Certifications: -Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) Data Center, CCIEEnterprise Infrastructure, CCIE Enterprise Wireless, CCIECollaboration, Cisco Certified Design Expert (CCDE), F5 (or otherload balancer) Certified Solution Expert, SNIA Storage NetworkingCertificate. Able to execute instructions andto request clarification when needed. Able toperform basic mathematical calculations. Ableto recognize and attend to important details with accuracy andefficiency.
