Job Responsibilities

Role: Development of Components for Recent Projects through Vendors.

Vertical Responsibilities: Setting up Robotic lines and facilities for Welded parts like - BIW / Chassis, Body, Cabin, Wind shields at Vendors for new / Existing projects. Proving Production on these lines.



Making changes in existing Vendor facilities as per new model requirement and for capacity enhancement.

Horizontal Responsibilities:

Weld Line Design, Process design, DFM study and resolution with R&D;, Fixtures Design Approval for CV BIW, Chassis & Body Components

Competency Requirements

Technical/ Functional: Knowledge of manufacturing processes – Experience in configuring and integrating robotic lines. Knowledge of project costing and cost negotiation / settlement for the Project is also important. Experience in press line automation is a plus.

Knowledge of drawing study for CV Chassis, BIW, Steering column & forks, designing of manufacturing process for CV Chassis, BIW, suspension arms, MIG welding, Spot welding, fixture DAP approvals

Desirable: Knowledge of - IATF , TPM , PPAP, APQP, SAP.
