About the Role

We are looking for a high-caliber Senior Backend Engineer to architect and scale our core Supply Chain Execution engine. In this role, you will build ultra-low latency microservices that handle complex logistics constraints, warehouse management workflows, and real-time shipment tracking routing for enterprise clients across India and global markets.

Core Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain resilient, highly scalable distributed backend systems handling millions of daily parcel movements and warehouse inventory transactions.

Build high-throughput event-driven architectures for real-time inventory updates, order orchestration, and exception handling.

Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and algorithms teams to translate complex supply chain constraints (weight, volume, vehicle capacity, SLAs) into performant backend services.

Write clean, testable code, participate in peer code reviews, and drive engineering best practices across the squad.

Optimize database performance, query execution plans, and caching layers to ensure high availability during peak traffic seasons (e.g., festive sales).

Tech Stack & Requirements:

Languages & Frameworks: Java (Spring Boot) or Go (Golang), Python.

Architecture & Messaging: Microservices, Event-Driven Architecture, Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ.

Databases & Caching: PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, Elasticsearch.

Cloud & DevOps: AWS / GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines.

Experience: 5–8 years of backend software development experience, with at least 3+ years building high-scale transactional systems, preferably within logistics, e-commerce fulfillment, or supply chain tech domains.
