Job Title: Safety Officer
Entity: Bureau Veritas India Pvt Ltd (BVIL)
Location: Bangalore
Reports to (job): Manager – B&I;
Ø Purpose of Position
- The job incumbent is responsible for performing Safety supervision as per SOP, approved procedure and drawings, standards, etc.,
Carries out tasks in safest manner, with minimum supervision, and these may be on well identified or isolated assets.
- Major Responsibilities
- Project Management Consultancy-Safety Supervision of Civil Projects on a continuous basis
- Conducting in office training on Safety for Site Engineers and workers,
- Preparing Safety report based on client’s requirement.
- Follow up the above reports and close the gaps mentioned in the reports
- Adherence to Codes and Standards (Knowledge of Codes and Standards),
- Inspection, supervision of construction activities as per client requirement
- Review of SOP & Methodology
- Preparation of Checklist and Method statement for site works.
- Preparation of SOP and Audit schedules.
