Business Finance – EV Business

Qualification: CA
Experience: 4–5 years post qualification
Industry: EV / Automotive
Preferred experience: Ather / Mahindra Electric / established EV or Automotive OEM

Role:
Business Finance role partnering with the EV business to drive profitable growth and support key commercial decisions across the business.

Key responsibilities:
- Product and variant pricing, margin and profitability analysis; support pricing decisions based on market and competitive dynamics.
- Evaluate and optimise dealer/customer incentives, discounts and schemes with focus on volume, ROI and profitability.
- Identify and develop additional revenue streams through accessories, VAS, subscriptions and other monetisation opportunities.
- Analyse dealer economics and profitability, identify gaps and work with business teams on corrective actions.
- Drive cost optimisation and margin improvement initiatives across the business.
- Prepare and drive business MIS covering volume,



market share, revenue, margins, pricing, incentives, dealer performance and other key KPIs.
- Support AOP, forecasting and business reviews, including scenario analysis and evaluation of new business initiatives.
- Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Product, Operations and other functions to provide commercial insights and decision support.

Candidate profile:
- CA with 4–5 years of post-qualification experience.
- Prior experience in Business Finance / Commercial Finance in an EV or automotive company.
- Strong understanding of pricing, product profitability, dealer economics and commercial levers.
- Robust analytical and problem-solving skills with good command of Excel / Power BI.
- Should be commercially oriented, hands-on with data and comfortable working closely with business teams.
