Deputy Manager – Automated Business Controls Testing

Location: Client Site, Pune | Duration: Full time deployment for 4 months | Experience: 2-6 years

Role Summary

Support SOX/ICFR automated business controls testing across banking and financial services processes. Work from client location in Pune with alignment to UK business hours and occasional global stakeholder interaction.

Key Responsibilities
- Execute walkthroughs, planning and testing of Automated Business Controls (ABCs).
- Assess automated controls, interfaces, reconciliations, system configurations and IPE.
- Document test results, exceptions and remediation tracking.
- Coordinate with business, technology and control owners.
- Support testing across Treasury, Markets, Mortgage, Payments, Digital Banking, Lending, Revenue Recognition and Financial Reporting processes.

Required Skills
- Experience in SOX, ICFR,



internal controls or audit testing.
- Understanding of automated controls, data flows, interfaces and reconciliations.
- Strong documentation, analytical and stakeholder management skills.
- Exposure to banking or financial services environments preferred.
- Ability to work from client site in Pune 3 days per week or as required.

- Prepare high-quality workpapers and testing documentation.
- Escalate issues on a timely basis.
- Lead planning and execution for assigned control portfolios.
- Review work papers and coach team members.
- Manage allocation, tracking and reporting of testing progress.
- Drive issue resolution and stakeholder communications.
