accredited by the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change
(UNFCCC), VERRA (USA), Gold Standard Foundation (Switzerland), Climate Action
Reserve (USA), Global Carbon Council (Qatar), Social Carbon Standard (Brazil)
and Bureau of Energy Efficiency India with offices in Asia, South America, and
Europe. Founded in 2012, Earthood has grown as an internationally recognized
organization working in Climate Change mitigation and well as broad
Environmental Sustainability & Agriculture sectors. Core services comprise
of consulting, auditing and certification, including, but not limited to audits
for carbon offsetting projects, advisory for Net- Zero roadmap, ESG strategy,
and Energy Efficiency.

Job Description

1. Conducting audits of carbon offset projects
under various programs (GS, VCS, CDM, GCC etc)

2. Evaluating the carbon
credit requirements from projects in various sectors like energy,
chemical, waste

3. Supporting team leaders in
various aspects of validation and verification of carbon credits

4. Analysing the big data
sheets for their accuracy and correctness inline to the requirements of
methodology and applicable tools from United Nations

5. Cross-checking and




verifying evidence and data sources, Assessment of emission reduction
calculations

6. Writing validation/
verification reports

7. Planning of site -visits
and travelling to site for audits mainly outside India

Requirements

Educational Qualification

1. MTech or MSc in Environment/ Energy/ Climate Change or any other core field.

2. Knowledge of IPCCC, Kyoto Protocol and Paris Agreement

3. Familiarity with GHG estimation calculations

Competencies

1. Ability to build robust relationships with national consultants and stakeholders, to focus on impact and results for the client, to respond positively to critical feedback, and a consensus-oriented approach to work.

2. Experience in accomplishing change management strategies and are comfortable with communication/marketing tools to foster the required change.

3. Highly developed inter-personal, negotiation and teamwork skills, and a networking aptitude.

4. Excellent English writing and communication skills.

5. Ability to work in complex, multi-stake-holder project environments.

6. Demonstrated experience in collaborating across projects.

7. Understanding of global sustainability markets and voluntary carbon market
