Position: Senior Admission Counsellor

Salary: ₹15,000 – ₹20,000 per month + Incentives

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Senior Admission Counsellor to lead the admission counselling process and convert prospective students/candidates into successful admissions.

The candidate will handle qualified leads, provide detailed course counselling, conduct effective follow-ups and achieve monthly admission targets.

Key Responsibilities

Handle and counsel prospective students through calls, WhatsApp and other communication channels.

Provide detailed information about courses, eligibility, duration, fees, certification and career opportunities.

Understand candidates' educational and career requirements and recommend suitable programs.

Effectively handle candidate queries, objections and concerns.

Conduct regular follow-ups with interested candidates.

Convert qualified leads into successful admissions.

Maintain accurate lead, follow-up and admission records.

Monitor the progress of leads through the admission funnel.

Coordinate with the Junior Admission Counsellor and admission team when required.

Support the team in improving lead conversion and admission performance.





Prepare regular admission and performance reports.

Mandatory Performance Target

Minimum 6 successful admissions per month is mandatory.

The Senior Admission Counsellor is expected to consistently achieve the monthly admission target.

Admissions above the minimum target may qualify for additional performance-based incentives.

Salary & Incentives

Fixed Salary: ₹15,000 – ₹20,000/month

Requirements

Excellent communication and counselling skills.

Strong convincing, negotiation and objection-handling ability.

Hindi communication is essential; good English communication preferred.

Target-oriented and self-motivated approach.

Good knowledge of telecalling, sales and lead conversion.

Basic computer, CRM/Excel and WhatsApp knowledge.

Previous experience in admission counselling, educational sales, telecalling or business development is preferred.

Key Performance Indicator (KPI)

Mandatory Minimum Target: 6 Successful Admissions per Month

Career Growth

High-performing candidates may be considered for Team Leader / Admission Team Manager roles based on performance and leadership ability.
