International Export Sales Manager – Agri & Food Commodities

The Role
Maalexi is looking for a hardcore international sales professional with hands-on experience selling agricultural and food commodities from India into global markets.
This is a revenue-generating sales role — not a market-research, coordination or account-support position.

You should currently be working, or have recently worked, with an exporter, trading house, processor or commodity company handling one or more of the following categories:
Grains | Pulses & Nuts | Spices & Seeds | Edible Oils | Frozen Meat | Seafood

These are core categories within Maalexi's trading platform and international supply-chain network.
Your mandate will be easy: find buyers, open markets, negotiate transactions and close export business across the United States, UAE, Saudi Arabia and selected African markets.

What You Will Be Responsible For




- Build and own an international sales pipeline from prospecting through contract execution and repeat business.
- Identify and directly approach importers, wholesalers, distributors, food processors, manufacturers, HORECA suppliers and large commodity buyers in target markets.
- Use your existing international buyer network to generate immediate commercial opportunities.
- Conduct high-volume outbound sales through calls, WhatsApp, email, , trade databases, referrals and industry networks.
- Qualify genuine buyers based on commodity, specification, volume, destination, target price, payment capability and purchasing timeline.
- Negotiate price, quantity, specifications, Incoterms, payment terms and delivery schedules and drive deals to closure.
- Develop longer-term buyer commitments, forward contracts and repeat monthly purchasing programmes—not just one-off spot transactions.
- Work closely with Maalexi's origination, pricing, logistics, inspect
