Position Overview:

Anaqua is looking for an HR Associate to support our India-based workforce and partner closely with our global HR team. Reporting to the Sr. HR Regional Director in the U.S., this role is the day-to-day HR point of contact for employees in India — handling everything from statutory compliance and HRIS data to exit interview tracking and employee handbook maintenance. You'll work across time zones as part of a small, tight-knit regional HR function, with real involvement over the processes you run and regular visibility into cross-regional reporting and projects.

- Prepare recurring HR reports and dashboards for other departments and executives (headcount, attrition, leave utilization, and similar workforce metrics)
- Assist with periodic reviews and updates to the Employee Handbook, as requested
- Assist with managing onboarding and offboarding for India-based employees, including documentation, background verification, and exit formalities
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date employee records in the HRIS




- Support statutory compliance activities
- Respond to employee questions on policies, advantages, and HR procedures
- Assist with recruitment coordination — scheduling interviews, preparing offer letters, and tracking background checks
- Support employee engagement and culture initiatives for the India team
- Conduct internal audits to check HR process compliance and consistency
- Partner with the Sr. HR Regional Director on ad hoc regional and global HR projects
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality when handling sensitive employee information
- Assist with any visa letters required for business travel

What You'll Need to Be Successful:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; or equivalent experience
- 2–4 years of progressive HR generalist or HR associate experience, ideally within a multinational or technology company
