Overview

The Head of Transformation is responsible for partnering with senior stakeholders across MUFG Corporate Markets globally to identify, shape and drive transformation initiatives that advance the global business strategy and align to the broader technology operating model.

The role brings together transformation activity across global markets into a single, integrated delivery roadmap, ensuring programs of work are prioritised, governed and executed with clear outcomes, disciplined delivery practices and measurable business impact. AI and automation will form part of the transformation agenda, and this role will ensure these opportunities are assessed and mobilised as part of a broader global transformation portfolio.

This role will also own and mature the project management capability and practice across Corporate Markets globally, establishing consistent standards, tools, governance, reporting and delivery capability to support high-quality execution across global markets and business lines.

Key Accountabilities and main responsibilities





Strategic Transformation Leadership
- Partner with the CEO, Executive Leadership Team and senior global stakeholders to understand Corporate Markets strategy, business priorities and the broader technology model.
- Identify, shape and prioritise transformation initiatives that improve client outcomes, operational effectiveness, scalability, risk management and commercial performance across the global business.
- Translate strategic priorities into explicit transformation programs, business cases and delivery plans with defined outcomes, benefits, resourcing and accountabilities.
- Ensure transformation opportunities consider process, technology, data, AI, automation, operating model and capability levers.

Global Portfolio, Roadmap and Delivery Governance
