To support the primary class teacher in managing classroom activities, ensuring student safety, and assisting young learners in their academic, social, and personal development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the class teacher during teaching and learning activities.
- Support students with classroom work, worksheets, and learning materials.
- Help maintain discipline and ensure a protected, caring classroom environment.
- Assist students with personal care needs (toilet support, hygiene, meals) where required.
- Supervise students during arrival, dispersal, recess, lunch, and school activities.
- Help in preparing teaching aids, displays, and classroom materials.
- Support students with special or individual learning needs under teacher guidance.
- Accompany students during field trips, assemblies, and school events.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the classroom.
- Communicate observations about students to the class teacher.
