Job Summary

As a Functional Test Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring software quality through manual testing practices. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, execute test cases, and support the overall testing lifecycle. This role is ideal for junior candidates with a strong foundation in manual testing.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Understand and analyze project requirements and acceptance criteria.




- Design, write, and execute manual test cases for applications.
- Perform Functional, UI, Regression, and Smoke testing.
- Identify, log, track, and verify defects throughout the defect life cycle.
- Prepare and manage test data required for test execution.
- Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to clarify requirements and raise concerns.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Support release activities and maintain test documentation.
- Contribute ideas to improve testing processes and efficiency.
