Role Overview

Expert Education & Visa Services is seeking an experienced and student-focused Senior Counsellor – UK & Europe to join its Kolkata office.

The Senior Counsellor will be responsible for providing personalised guidance to students interested in pursuing higher education in the United Kingdom and European countries.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed one-on-one counselling sessions with prospective students and their families.
- Assess students’ academic qualifications, financial capacity, career objectives, preferred destinations, and long-term aspirations.
- Recommend suitable universities, institutions, courses, and study destinations across the UK and Europe.
- Provide accurate and updated information regarding entry requirements, tuition fees, scholarships, intakes, application timelines, visa requirements, and post-study opportunities.
- Manage the complete admission process, from initial counselling to enrolment and pre-departure preparation.
- Assist students with university applications, statements of purpose, supporting documents,



scholarship applications, and other admission requirements.
- Coordinate with university representatives and admissions teams regarding applications, offers, conditions, and student-related queries.
- Work towards individual and branch-level counselling, application, conversion, and enrolment targets.
- Develop and maintain strong interpersonal and qualified relationships with university partners, institutional representatives, stakeholders, and internal teams.
- Participate in university visits, education fairs, admission days, seminars, webinars, workshops, and student engagement activities.
- Support local marketing and outreach initiatives by providing destination-specific information and counselling expertise.
- Stay updated on changes in UK and European education policies, admission criteria, visa regulations, compliance requirements, and market developments.
