International Export Sales Manager – Agri & Food Commodities

The Role

Maalexi is looking for a hardcore international sales qualified with hands-on experience selling agricultural and food commodities from India into global markets.

This is a revenue-generating sales role — not a market-research, coordination or account-support position.

You should currently be working, or have recently worked, with an exporter, trading house, processor or commodity company handling one or more of the following categories:

Grains | Pulses & Nuts | Spices & Seeds | Edible Oils | Frozen Meat | Seafood

These are core categories within Maalexi's trading platform and international supply-chain network.

Your mandate will be simple: find buyers, open markets, negotiate transactions and close export business across the United States, UAE, Saudi Arabia and selected African markets.

What You Will Be Responsible For




Build and own an international sales pipeline from prospecting through contract execution and repeat business. Identify and directly approach importers, wholesalers, distributors, food processors, manufacturers, HORECA suppliers and large commodity buyers in target markets. Use your existing international buyer network to generate immediate commercial opportunities. Conduct high-volume outbound sales through calls, Whats App, email, Linked In, trade databases, referrals and industry networks. Qualify genuine buyers based on commodity, specification, volume, destination, target price, payment capability and purchasing timeline. Negotiate price, quantity, specifications, Incoterms, payment terms and delivery schedules and drive deals to closure. Develop longer-term buyer commitments, forward contracts and repeat monthly purchasing programmes—not just one-off spot transactions.
