Job Brief

We are looking for a skilled and responsible Senior Accountant to manage accounting work for a large senior living project.

The project covers 10.5 acres with 280 units, with a built-up area of around 8 lakh sq. ft. and a project cost of about 200 Cr. The project construction is planned over 3 years.

This role is a great opportunity for a Sr Accountant who wants to take ownership of project accounting and work closely with the team. You will also guide and manage 1 Junior Accountant.

Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day accounting for the real estate project. Maintain accurate books of accounts and financial records.



Handle Tally and ensure all entries are recorded correctly. Manage GST accounting, records, and related compliance. Support Income Tax-related accounting and documentation. Prepare and manage billing and invoices. Check bills, payments, expenses, and supporting documents. Track project-related expenses and maintain proper records. Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams on accounts matters. Prepare basic reports and support project management with financial data. Guide and review the work of 1 Junior Accountant. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance. 6 to 8+ years of relevant accounting experience. Strong experience in Real Estate or Construction Project Accounting is mandatory. Experience in senior living projects will be an added advantage. Good working knowledge of Tally, GST, Income Tax, Billing, and Invoicing. Robust attention to detail and good numerical skills. Ability to manage work independently
