The role
You own the funnel that brings in annotators and QAs who can actually pass our bar - from the first ad someone sees to their first accepted task.
You'll draft the creatives, run the campaigns, and own the numbers behind them. Not brief an agency: write the copy, build the audience, launch, read the data, and decide what to scale and what to switch off.
The hard part isn't volume. Anyone can buy signups. A channel that delivers cheap registrations who fail assessment is worse than no channel at all - you'll be measured on qualified, active annotators and what they cost.
What you'll do
- Draft creatives and acquisition angles yourself - ads, landing pages, community posts, outreach copy - and iterate on performance, not taste
- Run acquisition campaigns across Meta, Instagram, Reddit,
Discord and technical communities, , job boards, and anything else you can prove works
- Own the budget end to end: targeting, allocation, ROI, CAC, payback - and the call to kill a channel that isn't returning
- Own conversion through the full funnel - signup, assessment, activation, first task - and find where qualified people are dropping out
- Run lifecycle and reactivation: move strong candidates through assessment, and re-engage contributors when recent projects launch
- Treat community as a channel, not an afterthought: Discord, Reddit, creator partnerships, training institutes and technical networks
- Own the metrics that matter: cost per qualified annotator, signup-to-assessment conversion, assessment pass rate by source, time to activation, first-task completion, repeat contribution and LTV by channel and geography
