Company Description The Trustea Sustainable Tea Foundation has been advancing sustainability in the Indian tea industry since 2013, with around 75% of India’s tea production trustea certified. The program takes a holistic approach, giving equal importance to environmental stewardship, workplace safety, and sustainable livelihoods, while ensuring regulatory compliance and fair compensation. Trustea works closely with tea producers and supply chain partners to embed responsible practices across operations. Smallholder farmers are a key focus, receiving structured learning opportunities and hands-on support throughout their sustainability journey. The foundation continues to expand its impact by strengthening systems that improve outcomes for workers, communities, and the environment.
Role Description This is a full-time, in office role based in the Kolkata metropolitan area. The System Assurance & Implementation Manager will oversee the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of assurance systems that support trustea certification and program standards.



Day-to-day responsibilities include managing system implementation projects, coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders, and ensuring that business processes align with sustainability and compliance requirements. The role involves monitoring system performance, analyzing data and reports, identifying gaps, and recommending process improvements to enhance effectiveness and transparency. The manager will also develop implementation plans, train users, document procedures, and support audits and evaluations to maintain the integrity of the trustea program.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
➢ Monitor and implement the trustea Assurance System towards an effective certification programme maintaining the organisational goals.
➢ Designing and rolling out the trustea implementation programme template for field implementation.
➢ Onboarding, training, and evaluation of the implementation system personnel to ensure roll
