Job Description – Actuarial Director

Requirements
- Extensive experience in actuarial valuation, roll forward, and Embedded Value (EC) activities across multiple US Life Insurance product blocks.
- Strong knowledge of US Life Insurance products, valuation methodologies, financial reporting, and associated business processes.
- Strong understanding of financial statements, including Balance Sheet and Income Statement, and their interaction with actuarial results.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate complex actuarial and financial issues and drive them to resolution.
- Proven ability to review, challenge, and validate technical deliverables, ensuring accuracy, quality, and adherence to business requirements.
- Demonstrated experience leading multiple workstreams, managing competing priorities, and ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior management and global teams.




- Proven ability to lead, develop, and mentor actuarial professionals and build a high-performing team.
- Solid focus on process improvement, operational efficiency, controls, and continuous enhancement of actuarial processes.

Responsibilities
- Lead and provide oversight for roll forward and EC activities across multiple US Life Insurance product blocks.
- Own end-to-end delivery of actuarial workstreams, ensuring quality, accuracy, timely execution, and adherence to project and business timelines.
- Provide technical leadership on complex actuarial investigations, including root cause analysis, reserve movements, assumption changes, current business impacts, and experience variances.
- Review and challenge Analysis of Movement (AOM), valuation results, reconciliations, and other key actuarial deliverables.
