Job Description – Actuarial Director

Requirements
Extensive experience in actuarial valuation, roll forward, and Embedded Value (EC) activities across multiple US Life Insurance product blocks. Strong knowledge of US Life Insurance products, valuation methodologies, financial reporting, and associated business processes. Strong understanding of financial statements, including Balance Sheet and Income Statement, and their interaction with actuarial results. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate complex actuarial and financial issues and drive them to resolution. Proven ability to review, challenge, and validate technical deliverables, ensuring accuracy, quality, and adherence to business requirements. Demonstrated experience leading multiple workstreams, managing competing priorities, and ensuring timely and high-quality delivery. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior management and global teams. Proven ability to lead,



develop, and mentor actuarial professionals and build a high-performing team. Strong focus on process improvement, operational efficiency, controls, and continuous enhancement of actuarial processes. Responsibilities
Lead and provide oversight for roll forward and EC activities across multiple US Life Insurance product blocks. Own end-to-end delivery of actuarial workstreams, ensuring quality, accuracy, timely execution, and adherence to project and business timelines. Provide technical leadership on complex actuarial investigations, including root cause analysis, reserve movements, assumption changes, recent business impacts, and experience variances. Review and challenge Analysis of Movement (AOM), valuation results, reconciliations, and other key actuarial deliverables.
