Role & responsibilities
- Develop procurement strategies aligned with project requirements.
- Lead vendor identification, evaluation, and development.
- Handle contract negotiation and finalization.
- Monitor procurement budgets and cost optimization.
- Ensure compliance with policies and documentation.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams.
- Mitigate procurement risks and develop contingencies.
- Report procurement performance to management.
Preferred candidate profile
- B.E./B.Tech or relevant degree in Supply Chain Management/Commerce.
- 5+ years experience in project procurement (Steel preferred).
- Strong SAP/ERP and MS Office skills.
- Robust leadership, negotiation, and analytical skills.
