Role & Responsibilities

- Provide comprehensive consultation, diagnosis and treatment for patients presenting with male and female infertility.
- Evaluate fertility history, investigations and clinical reports and formulate individualized treatment plans.
- Manage fertility treatments including ovulation induction, IUI, IVF, ICSI and frozen embryo transfer (FET).
- Plan, initiate and monitor controlled ovarian stimulation cycles and modify protocols based on patient response.
- Perform follicular monitoring and assess endometrial development and treatment readiness.
- Perform/assist with procedures including IUI, ovum pick-up (OPU) and embryo transfer, as per clinical privileges.
- Counsel patients and couples regarding treatment options, expected outcomes, risks, alternatives and treatment timelines.
- Coordinate closely with embryology, andrology, nursing and counselling teams for seamless patient management.
- Manage patients with complex infertility conditions including diminished ovarian reserve, PCOS, endometriosis, recurrent implantation failure and recurrent pregnancy loss.
- Ensure appropriate management and prevention of treatment-related complications, including OHSS.
- Provide appropriate follow-up after fertility procedures and during early pregnancy.
- Maintain accurate, timely and complete patient records, treatment plans, consent forms and procedure documentation.
- Adhere to clinical protocols, SOPs, quality standards, patient-safety practices and applicable ART regulations.
- Participate in clinical audits, case discussions, CME programmes and quality improvement initiatives.
- Contribute to patient education, fertility awareness programmes and the clinical growth of the upcoming centre.
- Promote ethical,



evidence-based and patient-centric fertility care without making unrealistic guarantees regarding treatment outcomes.

Preferred candidate profile

- MBBS with MD/MS/DNB in Obstetrics & Gynaecology.
- Additional qualification/fellowship/training in Reproductive Medicine, Infertility or Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) preferred.
- Valid medical registration with the appropriate medical regulatory authority.
- 38 years of relevant experience in fertility, IVF and reproductive medicine preferred.
- Hands-on experience in IVF/ICSI cycle management, follicular monitoring and embryo transfer.
- Experience in ovum pick-up (OPU) and other fertility procedures will be an advantage.
- Strong clinical understanding of female and male infertility and assisted reproductive technologies.
- Experience in managing complex infertility cases and patients with previous failed IVF cycles.
- Excellent patient counselling and communication skills with a compassionate and empathetic approach.
- Ability to work effectively with embryologists, andrologists, nurses, counsellors and other clinical teams.
- Robust clinical decision-making, documentation and patient-management skills.
- Commitment to ethical medical practice, patient confidentiality and evidence-based treatment.
- Willingness to contribute to the development and growth of a new fertility centre at Nanakramguda/ Secundrabad, Hyderabad.
- Candidates with strong clinical expertise and a patient-centric approach will be preferred.
