Role & responsibilities

- Lead multiple impurity and DLC synthesis projects and provide technical direction to Team Leaders.
- Design synthetic strategies and alternative routes for challenging target compounds.
- Review literature, patents, and available synthetic routes to identify efficient approaches.
- Lead synthesis of complex and difficult-to-access impurities.
- Drive process optimization, scale-up, purification, and isolation of target compounds.

- Review technical reports, experimental data, and project documentation.
- Mentor Team Leaders and senior scientists.
- Evaluate project feasibility, timelines, resources, and technical risks.
- Present project progress and technical challenges to senior management.
- Support development of new impurity/DLC capabilities and expand the company's product portfolio.

Preferred candidate profile

Qualification: M.Sc./Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, or a related field.

Experience:

- Team Leader: 510 years of relevant R&D; experience.
- Group Leader: 812+ years of relevant R&D; experience.





- Strong hands-on experience in DLC, impurity, degradation product, and related compound synthesis.

- Proven expertise in multi-step organic synthesis, route development, process optimization, and troubleshooting.
- Good knowledge of reaction mechanisms, purification, isolation, and crystallization techniques.

- Strong team leadership, mentoring, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Good technical documentation and communication skills.
- Candidate should be hands-on, result-oriented, and capable of working in a fast-paced R&D; workplace.
